Reading this, I thought about the fact that when I am on planes and they are about to land, usually I’m touching up my lipstick and wondering if that will be my last act on earth just before the wheels fail to emerge for the landing.
I nearly got hit by a car a few days ago while whistling the theme song to “Love Boat”. I imagined waking up in hell thinking “Now that’s a bitch…”
Yep. Like that.
I’d like to think something more profound will be going on, but it’s a thin hope, you know.
I got rear-ended a couple of weeks ago while listening to Wire’s “I am the fly”.
Since then it’s been playing to in the background of this thick skull nearly even waking moment.
